You can now ‘rent’ a mobile number to use for just one week

It lets you ‘rent’ a number for just £1.49 per week so you can use it if you need to sell something on the web or maybe give your digits out to a stranger. The Swytch app – which lets you have multiple numbers on one phone – has just launched a new feature and it’s pretty cool.

Giving out your number on a dating site has always been a bit of a gamble – but worry no more.

Swytch – the app which lets you have multiple UK mobile numbers all on the same device – have just launched a new feature allowing you to rent an additional line for just £1.49 a week.

Chances are a fair few people will be interested in this development. Results from a recent Ofcom survey showed a quarter of people NEVER give out their real mobile number.

The idea is you don’t have to keep copying and pasting things into a different chat app. Instead Spaces has Google search, YouTube and Chrome integrated.

You can create a Space with a tap of any topic and invite anyone you like via messaging, email or a social network.

More than 10million people downloaded this in the first week of its release last week.
