A mum who found her four-year-old son covered from head-to-toe make-up worth around £120 has seen her ‘customer review’ go viral. Sarah Chrisp found her four-year-old son Damian completely covered in make-up
Make-up artist Sarah Chrisp from Macclesfield posted a photo of young Damian on the Facebook page of make-up brand Urban Decay after he got his hands on the products.
The 27-year-old said she’d been considering writing a review for sometime, and decided to take the opportunity as she was unlikely to test the Naked eyeshadow palettes to such extremes ever again.
She jested about the pigmentation of the shades, saying they were “second to none”, and that Damian’s favourite appeared to be Blackout adding “he has great taste!”
Sarah wrote: “Longevity: I’m very impressed. It took a good twenty minutes of thorough washing in the shower with a mild soap to get most of it off.
“I was tempted to leave him like this for the day to see how it lasted, I have no doubts it would have held up pretty well!
“Versatility: Damian was able to use your eyeshadow as lipstick, eyeliner, nail varnish, floor polish, emulsion, hair dye, and you can see how well he was able to fill in his eyebrows! 10/10 for being multipurpose!”

She also joked about value for money, saying that although some people may think the Urban Decay Naked palettes are a tad on the pricey side at around £35-£40 each, the four-year-old managed to colour his entire body, as well as redecorate three rooms in the house.
The post has since been shared almost 10,000 times, with hundreds of parents replying with sympathetic snaps of their own children’s make-up disasters.
Sarah, who is manager at The Comic Book Shop in Macclesfield, said Damian completely decimated around 30 different eye shadow shades from three different palettes– worth around £120.
She told the Manchester Evening News : “I got out the shower yesterday morning and was greeted by that!
“He’d decided to try out the three most expensive palettes!
“I’m a trained make-up artist so Damian is used to seeing me doing make-up so I guess it’s only natural for him to want to try it himself!”
She added: “When I first saw him it made me jump, I wasn’t expecting to see some small powdery creature standing in front of me.
“After the initial combination of shock, anger and sadness I just couldn’t stop laughing, it was really funny.”

Sarah said she wrote the review as many of her friends in the make-up business use similar products and she thought they would find it amusing.
“I didn’t expect the response it’s had, it seems that any woman who owns make-up has found it funny!”
She ended her review: “All in all, I would highly recommend your products to anyone that’s thinking of buying them. I would also highly recommend not leaving them within reach of curious 4 year olds.
“Thanks very much, Sarah – gutted, but has an excuse to go makeup shopping now, UK.”
