Facebook actually gives users a new way to react to posts – and it doesn’t involve emojis

The new feature is supported on desktop web, iOS, and Android. To try it out, all you need to do is:

  1. Record a video
  2. Click the camera icon next to the comment field
  3. Select your video
  4. Press the “Post” button

“Videos in Comments are now available worldwide! You can upload them as replies to posts by people and pages, as well as within groups and events,” he said in a blog post.

Facebook has been pushing video pretty hard over the last few months.

In April, the company announced that the mobile app will replace the central “Messenger” icon with a “Video” icon, so you can share and watch live video more easily.

Facebook hopes it will be used for sharing family moments, helping celebrities connect with their fans, and reporting breaking news stories.
