Zenbo was unveiled by Jonney Shih, chairman of Asus – the company behind the robot – on stage at Computex today, reports The Verge.

It’s been described as resembling an iMac G4 riding a Sony Rolly, but appears to work like Amazon’s Echo.
Asus says it’s particularly useful for older people.

A video demonstrating Zenbo’s capabilities features a section where it comes to the aid of a grandad who’s fallen over at home.
The little robot takes a picture of the man, which it sends to his granddaughter.

She’s then able to notify her parents, who help him back up.
