Few of us will want to see the sight of the same moggie with a hole blown in its side. We all love to gawp at a cute cat.
So brace yourself for an incredible optical illusion snapped by a Japanese photographer living in the United Arab Emirates.
His moggy has a distinctive pie chart-shaped colour patch on its fur, which creates an amazing effect as it walks through the deserts near its Middle Eastern home.
The effect is created because the ginger patch is exactly the same colour as the sand, whilst the dark tint gives the impression of a hole going right through the cat’s body.
According to RocketNews24 , the pictures have received thousands of retweets in Japan.
