Jen Lilley Reportedly Gives Up Days of Our Lives

Jen Lilley, who has played the conniving Theresa Donovan for three years on NBC’s Days of Our Lives, is reportedly leaving the long-running soap, according to Daytime Confidential. Salem may soon be down a witch.

Lilley joined Days of Our Lives in July 2013 after filling in for former Days‘ star Kirsten Storms as Maxie Jones on ABC’s General Hospital. (As previously reported, Storms is again on leave from her GH gig, but Lilley doesn’t seem to be vying to be her temporary replacement, as she apparently turned in her notice prior to Storms’ departure.)

Fall 2016 TV Scorecard: Which shows are returning? Which aren’t?

There’s no news on how the character of Theresa will be written out of Days, but based on the trouble she’s caused in the three years since she became a major player in Salem, it’s safe to assume she will not go quietly.

What we do know, though, is that Theresa’s parents, super-couple Shane and Kimberly Donovan–played by Charles Shaughnessy and Patsy Pease, respectively–will both return for her exit storyline later this year.

Will you miss Lilley as Theresa?
