Hacking group OurMine claimed to have compromised Mark Zuckerberg’s Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter accounts. Hackers claim to have accessed social networking accounts of the man who founded Facebook.

In a Twitter post the group tweeted Zuckerberg: “Hey @finkd we got access to your Twitter & Instagram & Pinterest, we are just testing your security, please dm us.”

Venturebeat reports a similar message appeared on a Pinterest account allegedly linked to Zuckerberg.

It has not been possible to verify whether his Instagram account was hacked.

Zuckerberg’s Twitter account, which he has not used since 2012, appears normal but a site Engadget posted pictures showing it had been defaced.

It has reported the Twitter account @finkd was suspended before being reactivated with the tweet from OurMine removed.

OurMine claimed that they were able to access Zuckerberg’s accounts thanks to the Linkedin data breach.

More than 100 million members’ email and password combinations stolen in a 2012 data breach were posted online in May.

Facebook has just added a new ‘setting’ letting people choose whether or not they want to be tracked and shown adverts.
