There’s a good reason why you should check your old account RIGHT NOW
The same group who are trying to sell information relating to 65.4 million Tumblr users has just announced that it’s also grabbed usernames, passwords and email addresses for 360.3 million Myspace accounts. You probably haven’t thought about Myspace for a long time.
But you need to go and check your long-forgotten account immediately, because hackers have allegedly nicked info relating to millions of people’s profiles.
In a statement, Myspace claimed a Russian hacked called Peace stole the information and is now trying to sell it.
Anyone who started an account before June 11 2013 could be affected by the hack.
Myspace said it had “invalidated” all user accounts which were created before this date.
