A rundown of the specs

While Apple appear to be stripping down and refining their phones, Samsung are going in the opposite direction, throwing as many features as possible into their latest offering.

The new S8 features an almost completely full screen display, with curved edges on both sides of the handset.

To make space for the huge front screen, the home button has been booted off (the next natural phase of phone modernisation) and the fingerprint scanner also now sits at the back.

The latest addition to the Samsung Galaxy range has also upgraded its battery life, camera, memory and gaming capability improvements, and comes in two different sizes: the standard Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, which measure in at 5.8 and 6.2 inches, respectively.

The S8 is widely available in midnight black and orchid grey, or you can pick it up in stunning artic silver exclusively from EE.

For a beautiful coral blue hue S8, pick up yours from Mobiles.co.uk or Carphone Warehouse.
